SpecialtiesGeneral Physical Therapy and LSVT BIG treatment for Parkinson's disease
Amanda has been a longstanding part of the Northern family – she started as an intern and upon completing the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Grand Valley State University (GVSU), she joined us full time. Our staff and patients alike love Amanda’s spirit and her generosity when it comes to building long-term relationships and helping patients get back to maintaining a full life.
As our resident LSVT BIG expert and a certified clinician, Amanda has an interest in working with people who are living with Parkinson’s disease. While studying at GVSU, she became exposed to the LSVT treatment method and was amazed at how something so simple could have such a profound impact on someone with Parkinson’s disease.
Amanda grew up in Frankenmuth…yes, the home of the world’s largest Christmas store. She moved to west Michigan to go to GVSU and she’s been here ever since.
When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, friends, and boyfriend. Hobbies include doing anything outdoors, exercising, and camping.
