At Ivy Rehab / Northern Physical Therapy we’re continuously monitoring the developments concerning COVID-19 and all related implications within each of the communities that we serve.
In order to best support our patients’ needs, and to ensure uninterrupted continuity of care, Ivy Rehab / Northern Physical Therapy clinics will remain open for business and will continue to see patients. Per the Governor’s stay-at-home orders, we are considered an essential health care service. We will continue to remain open for our patients until such point that circumstance requires us to change course.
Our principle commitment is to the health and safety of our patients, our teammates and to the communities within which we all live and work. We want to assure all of our patients that we are going above and beyond when it comes to safety, including enhanced screening protocols, rigorous cleaning processes and strict adherence to social distancing procedures as outlined by the CDC in each of our clinics. The leadership and dedicated teammates at Ivy Rehab / Northern Physical Therapy whole-heartedly believe that physical therapy services are essential health care services that reduce pain, improve function and enhance the lives of people suffering from musculoskeletal and other ailments. We remain committed to your care and we are here and available to address your physical therapy needs.
Here are a few things we’re doing:
- We’re following a comprehensive cleaning checklist to ensure we are regularly sanitizing all areas that are frequently contacted. This includes exercise equipment, door handles, light switches, restrooms, tables, and other commonly contacted areas.
- We’re using EPA approved cleansers that fight coronavirus and other viral and bacterial contaminants.
- We are washing our hands frequently between patient contacts and are using alcohol-based sanitizers.
Because of the time-sensitive nature of the physical therapy services we provide, we feel that to the extent possible, it is important that we continue to serve patients who need our help to recover. As always, it is our pleasure to serve you and we remain committed to your health and recovery. If there is anything else we can do to support you through your course of care, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
For us, “it’s all about the people.” Our top priority is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to reach your recovery goals. We are actively monitoring information regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) as issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and our local and state governments. We are taking precautionary measures to ensure the health and welfare of our patients and clinical teams during this time. In addition to aggressive cleaning practices, we have also implemented patient and teammate screening procedures in all of our clinics.
