We had the pleasure of stopping by the studios of WZZM’s My West Michigan this morning to talk about back pain treatment. Believe it or not, 4 out of 5 people suffer from back pain at some point in their lives. It can go from a daily annoyance to extreme but there are things you can do at home to keep this pain at bay, and when it gets really bad there is a safe and long-lasting alternative: physical therapy.
Lisa Otterbein-Bolek and Julie Blodgett, two of our physical therapists who specialize in back pain, were on hand to demonstrate some techniques you can do at home to help ease your back pain.

A big thanks to the WZZM and My West Michigan teams for having us on this morning! If anyone reading is suffering from back pain, give us a call today. We’ll set up a consultation to see where your back pain is coming from and determine a plan to get you moving again. Plus, PT visits are often covered by most insurance plans.
Check out our previous segments on My West Michigan where we talked about pelvic health, keeping the kids active, weight loss, using an exercise ball, the 3 minute exercise routine, concussions in student athletes and senior health.
