The McKenzie Method – is it right for you?

The McKenzie Method – is it right for you?

back pain is not always curable and for many it’s a life-long problem. If you’ve been suffering from back pain for a long time consider learning more about self-management therapies, like The McKenzie Method.

The goal of any therapy is to help a patient become as independent as possible by teaching them exercises that will help them to alleviate their aches and pains. This is especially true with the McKenzie approach. It involves minimal hands on intervention from the therapist and offers more patient directed activities. The goal is for the patient to be able to carry on the exercise without the assistance of a physical therapist so that they have the tools to relieve their pain.

More and more local physicians are referring their patients for McKenzie therapy, as there is a lot of research behind this method of treatment and its effectiveness in the relief of back and neck pain. For more information call or visit any of our locations.
