Manual Therapy

Manual therapy techniques are a specialized form of physical therapy and occupational therapy delivered with the hands as opposed to a device or machine. In manual therapy, therapists use their hands to put pressure on muscle tissue and mobilize joints in an attempt to relieve pain, improve circulation and increase patients’ mobility.

If it’s determined that Manual Therapy is right for you, one or more of the following techniques will be used:
  • Joint Mobilization
  • Muscle Energy Techniques
  • Mulligan Mobilization with Movement
  • Trigger Point Release
  • Soft Tissue Release
  • Strain and Counter Strain
  • Cross Friction Technique
  • Neural Glides
  • TMJ Therapy
