Last chance for Boot Camp - classes start this month! If you’re between the ages of 12-18, you’ll want to stay in shape over the summer to keep in top condition for your game. That’s why NPT has developed a four-week boot camp-style program that focuses on increasing overall strength, flexibility, endurance, agility, and coordination skills. There will also be a special emphasis on teaching the importance of sports nutrition and injury prevention.
The boot camp programs will be held in Coopersville and Wayland and run by Athletic Trainer, Bethany Tillema. “I want kids to prepare to be challenged, but to have a lot of fun too,” says Bethany. Dates: June 21-July 23 *There will be no boot camp the week of July 4 Coopersville classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am to 12pm Wayland classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm to 3:30pm Cost: $50 Camp includes t-shirt and sports pack.
