Medical Billing and Reimbursement Specialist for Outpatient Rehabilitation

Seeking experienced medical billing and reimbursement specialist for Northern Physical Therapy with 5 locations in west MI. Experience must be consistent with job duties:

• Data/charge entry

• ICD9 coding

• Electronic and manual billing

• Payment posting

• Collections and AR management

• Must maintain knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement methods

Requirements

• Billing specialist experience 3 years min

• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Facility, Commercial and Work Comp billing

• Working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD9 codes and modifiers

• Excellent keying speed and accuracy

• Excel proficiency.

• Excellent customer service

• Effective oral and written communication

• Outpatient PT/OT billing experience preferred

• Experience with L codes and splint billing preferred

• Medical billing and coding diploma program desired

Full time hourly position with benefits.
